A unique and more casual way of exploring Southern Africa is on the Shongololo Express, a "cruise" train -  like being on a cruise, only its on the land! The train travels at night time, stopping during the day to explore the country. There are 4 different itineraries ranging from 12 to 16 days, and between them, covering 8 countries: South Africa, Swaziland, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia and Tanzania.  The train carries its own mini buses, stopping along the route for specialised activities and excursions, which are categorised into 4 choices: culture and heritage, highlights, eco tourism and adventure. A fun and unique way to explore this fantastic region.
